We are Calvary’s Way
One of the greatest blessings in the world has to be having the opportunity to travel with people you love and respect in a ministry you feel God has placed you in telling people about the love, sacrifice of, and salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
All of us feel that we have been given that blessing. We enjoy each other and we have seen our Lord work through us so many times.
Our Ministry
As much as we enjoy performing in concerts with some of today’s best known groups in Southern Gospel Music, the Ministry of Jesus Christ is what it is all about to Calvary’s Way. We love to go to churches anywhere God calls us and get to know the people there. We feel our purpose and calling is to, first and foremost, reach the lost, but we feel we’re also charged to uplift the Saints. People in churches all over the world who are serving God everyday need to be encouraged and given an opportunity to just sit back and be ministered to sometimes. We believe the music and lyrics we sing are the most uplifting and Spirit filled in the world, because we feel the Lord’s presence every time we sing and we’ve witnessed Him move so many times among His people during our time together. What a blessing it is to be a small part of His work.
Steve is the tenor for Calvary's Way. He is married to Lisa and they attend Macon Evangelistic Church, where the are very active. Steve is a retired postal worker. He was with the Post Office for about 35 years. Steve@calvarysway.com
Now Lane is the Bass singer for Calvary's Way, and if you know him, you know he's pretty low down, LOL He and his wife, Shirley, live in Lizella, Georgia. They have two children, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Now that he is retired, Lane spends most of his time thinking up ways to aggravate people. Lane@calvarysway.com
Ron Papizan is theLead singer for Calvary's Way. He is our all around prankster. Ron also is in charge of updating our website and runs our sound at the concerts. ( if you don't like our sound or our website, Complain to Him) Ron has two kids, Matt, 20 and Haley ,21. He attends Peachtree Baptist Church in Byron Ga.. Ron@calvarysway.com
Ken Beck plays Keyboards for Calvary's Way. He and his wife Song live in the big city of Winston, Georgia. They have one Daughter and two Grandchildren. Ken in his younger years played for, in and around some of the biggest names in show business when he lived in Las Vegas. When he is not playing for the group he makes Custom Music Tracks for Churches and Individuals. Ken@calvarysway.com
Robert Cripe is our Baritone singer. He attends Daystar Church of God. Robert and Judy live in Macon Ga. and are kept busy with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Robert was a great help to Calvary's Way as he filled in as we needed him, but now we have to put up with him all the time. Robert@calvarysway.com
